TestWell's "Everyone Can Score More" Sliding-Scale Tuition Program

For Students:

TestWell believes strongly that everyone should have a fair chance to reach their goals. Everyone should be able to go to a great college, grad school, law school, or business school. And, since standardized entrance exams are such a big part of getting into your dream school, that means everyone should be able to get the best in professional training for their exam.

That's a big part of why we founded TestWell -- and instituted our "Everyone Can Score More" Sliding-Scale Tuition Program. We want everyone -- not just the well-off -- to be able to have the very best training for their LSATs, GREs, GMATs, SATs, and PSATs.

Our "Everyone Can Score More" program couldn't be simpler: if you receive financial assistance at your school, you probably qualify. For most students, all you have to do is calculate your total need-based financial-aid -- regardless of source -- as a percentage of your school's total program cost. (Please note: we count only need-based grants and scholarships, not merit awards, loans, or work-study. Stipends that accompany assistantships are counted as work-study. "Total program cost" means tuition PLUS room & board costs as defined by your school -- even if you live off-campus.) If you're not certain about the numbers, your school's financial aid office will have the figures. Then look at the chart above, and you can see what your Course will cost. (This chart applies only to students who are paying for their own Course or whose families are paying; please call for details if an institution, firm, or organization is paying for your Course or reimbursing you for its cost.)

We don't make you go through some ridiculous process to qualify, either. For most students, all you need to do is send us one document from your school's financial aid office demonstrating the grants you receive and the total cost of your school, so that we can verify the percentage. (Usually people send their "award letter," but anything from the aid office that shows the relevant information will do.)

That's all there is to it. No arbitrary decisions, no games, no uncertainty, no delays, and not a lot of hassle -- just a simple, straightforward, and fair process. See you in class!

The fine print: Scholarships can not be combined with other promotions/discounts unless specified. TestWell is the sole arbiter of eligibility for our Sliding-Scale Tuition program. Terms, conditions, and prices subject to change without notice. These prices current as of February 2012.

For Non-Students:

Our "Everyone Can Score More" program couldn't be simpler: it's a sliding scale, based on income. For most students, just look at your most recent (or projected, if your income has changed or is expected to change soon) US Income Tax Form 1040 (or 1040A, 1040 EZ), and look for the line with Gross Income. Then look at the chart below, and you can see what your Course will cost. (This chart applies only to single persons who have no dependents and who are not dependent upon anyone else, such as parents or trust funds, and only for people paying for their own Course; please call for details if your household size is greater than 1, if you are classed as someone else’s dependent, or if someone else is paying for this Course or reimbursing you for its cost.)

We don't make you go through some ridiculous process to qualify, either. For most students, all you need to do is send us a certified copy (available from the IRS, or a copy signed and notarized by your tax preparer) of your most recent form 1040 or equivalent. (We realize this is intrusive on your privacy, and apologize for the need, but we must ensure that our scholarship program is reserved only for those who really need it. Your information will be maintained in the strictest confidence: TestWell does not release student or prospective-student financial information to anyone under any circumstances whatsoever.) That's all there is to it. No arbitrary decisions, no games, no uncertainty, no delays, and not a lot of hassle -- just a simple, straightforward, and fair process. See you in class!
